This is an Agreement between Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Live Oak-Santa Cruz (hereafter referred to as "Provider") and the sponsoring Bahá'í Local Spiritual Assembly (hereafter referred to as "Sponsor") which uses the Bahá'í Contact Online network under this Agreement.

This Agreement contains the complete understanding between Provider and Sponsor as to the services, and it supersedes all prior agreements.

Sponsor understands that the Bahá'í Contact Online network relies on the use of personal contact information and maintains this information in a database. Sponsor also understands that such information is only accessible by other Bahá'ís that are granted access into the password protected areas where such information can be viewed. By approving the use of the Bahá'í Contact Online network for its community Sponsor acknowledges that it is giving permission to its community members to share their contact information with other Bahá'ís, that this contact information will be voluntarily provided by those individuals of the community who wish to participate in the use of the Bahá'í Contact Online network. Sponsor understands that these considerations are established to meet the provisions of the “Guidelines for Spiritual Assemblies” by the National Spiritual Assembly of the United States as described in part 6.23*.

Terms
This Agreement shall be in effect from the day a completed registration form is received by Provider until Náw Ruz of the following year, at which time this Agreement may be extended by mutual consent.

Eligibility
The services are available to any Local Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'í Administrative Order or registered Bahá'í group within the jurisdiction of a currently participating Local Spiritual Assembly. The Services are not available to Bahá'í groups whether registered or unregistered, individual or collective members of the Bahá'í Faith outside of a Local Spiritual Assemblies sponsorship, nor to commercial or non-profit organizations, whether or not related to the Bahá'í Faith.

Content
Sponsor is responsible for all content of electronically published information. Sponsor understands that material will be accessible to other Bahá'í Internet users worldwide registered with Bahá'í Contact Online. Provider has the right to remove or reject any material it considers inappropriate for any reason.

Copyright
Ownership and intellectual property rights to material produced in connection with the service shall be in accordance with international and U.S. law. Sponsor represents to Provider that material submitted for publication will not infringe upon the copyright of any person or entity.

Modification and Termination
Sponsor or Provider may cancel this Agreement for any reason without prior notice. Provider may modify any and all aspects of the Agreement, for any reason, with reasonable advance notice, and Sponsor shall acknowledge agreement to such changes or shall be considered to have cancelled the Agreement. A copy of the most recent version of this Agreement will be posted on the Internet.

*Sharing Community Lists with Other Communities - It is left to the discretion of each Assembly whether it wishes to share its membership lists with other Bahá'í institutions. (The lists should only be used to conduct official Bahá'í business.) The lists should not, however, be given to individual Bahá'ís outside of the community without the prior consent of each community member, as the names and addresses of the Bahá'ís are considered confidential.
